Aurel Vlaicu is a station on line M2 of the Bucharest metro, at the intersection of Șoseaua Pipera and Calea Floreasca, in the area called Aviației, in Sector 1, according to the Romanian Wikipedia. To the north, the next station is Pipera, the end of the line, and to the south is Aviatorilor.

The station opened in October 1987, together with the Piața Unirii – Pipera section of line M2. The sources do not agree on the exact day, so this page does not give it.
How to enter the station
According to Wikipedia, the station can be entered only through the entrances on Șoseaua Pipera. The exit toward Calea Floreasca has an escalator going up. The same page gives roughly 8.12 million passengers for the station in 2019.
The office area around it
An economica.net article from February 4, 2016 described the office area next to the station, at the intersection of Șoseaua Pipera with Gara Herăstrău, Barbu Văcărescu and Calea Floreasca. The article mentioned the Sky Tower, Green Court, Floreasca Park and Bucharest One buildings and said that about 30,000 people already worked in the offices near the station. The figure is old and does not describe the situation today. Zf.ro wrote in 2014 that Promenada Mall is in northern Bucharest, next to Aurel Vlaicu station.
