A group of schools, not a single building

Olga Gudynn International School, OGIS for short, is a group of kindergartens and schools. On its official website, the group says it was founded 25 years ago, and its community brings together students and teachers from more than 25 nationalities.

The campuses

The official website lists the Pipera campus, in Voluntari, for students aged 8–19, with an extension for children aged 6–8, and OGIS Pipera, also in Voluntari, for ages 3–6. In Bucharest, OGIS Floreasca and OGIS Făgăraș take children aged 3–10. According to the website, a new building is planned for the Pipera campus. The street addresses of the campuses are not listed on the overview page.

Three educational paths

The national program is the one accredited by the Ministry of Education, with English taught intensively in primary and middle school. The high school offers bilingual profiles: Philology, Mathematics–Informatics and Natural Sciences.

The second path is the Cambridge curriculum: Primary (grades 1–6), Lower Secondary (7–9), IGCSE (10–11) and AS & A Level (12–13). According to the website, the Cambridge classes began in 2025, and from 2026 the school plans to add more years of study at Pipera.

The third path is the IB Diploma Programme, for students in grades 11 and 12. OGIS presents itself as an IB World School and as a UNESCO-affiliated school.
