Two G+10 buildings

Global City Business Park is in the Pipera area in the north of Bucharest. The complex has two Class A office buildings, each with a ground floor and ten floors. The built area is 56,000 square meters, of which 51,000 are leasable, according to a Wall-Street.ro article of April 29, 2013. Eurobuild CEE, in 2015, also gives 51,000 leasable square meters for the two buildings.

Underground there are 28,000 built square meters, with 844 parking spaces. On the ground floor of the buildings there are approximately 4,000 square meters of retail space.

Who built it

The developer and owner was Global Finance, an investment fund founded in Athens in 1991. Work began in October 2007, writes Wall-Street.ro. Eurobuild CEE also notes that Global Finance developed the complex. The sources give different years for completion (February 2010 in Wall-Street.ro, 2009 in Eurobuild CEE), so the page does not state a date.

First LEED Campus certification

Eurobuild CEE wrote on February 13, 2015 that Global City received LEED Gold certification for the operation and maintenance of existing buildings. The complex is the first in Romania certified through the LEED Campus program, for projects located on the same site and controlled by a single owner.
