Two wings on Barbu Văcărescu

AFI Lakeview is at 301–311 Strada Barbu Văcărescu, in Sector 2. The building’s official page describes it as Class A office space, with two wings: one with a ground floor and 14 floors, the other with a ground floor and 7 floors, plus four underground levels.

The total leasable area is 25,500 square meters. Typical floors are around 2,400 square meters, and the upper ones around 1,500. The parking garage has 465 underground spaces, and access to it is from Strada Fabrica de Glucoză.

A building from the first wave

A Wall-Street.ro article from 2012 counts The Lakeview among the four office buildings finished on Barbu Văcărescu in the preceding three years, alongside Euro Tower, Floreasca Business Park and Nusco Tower. The official page does not give a year of delivery.

The owner

The building passed to AFI Europe in August 2020, together with a portfolio of four office projects taken over from NEPI Rockcastle. The agreement was signed on August 5, 2020, and in the press release the building appears with 25,907 square meters. The value of the entire transaction was 290 million euros, according to the financial press.

Certifications

The official page mentions BREEAM Very Good and WELL Health & Safety certification. LEED Gold and LEED Zero Carbon logos also appear, but without details in the text, so the page does not state them.
