Two buildings at Gara Herăstrău
Equilibrium is at 2 Strada Gara Herăstrău, in Sector 2. The developer is Skanska, according to the business press.
The complex has two buildings, each with 12 floors above ground. The first has approximately 21,000 leasable square meters and the second approximately 20,000, says the Skanska page, which gives 40,700 square meters for the complex. The parking garage has 470 spaces, underground and above ground.
When they were delivered
The Skanska website does not give delivery years. The press indicates that Equilibrium 1 was completed at the end of 2019, while Equilibrium 2 began in February 2021, with an initial deadline in the first quarter of 2023. Forbes România wrote in April 2024 that the second phase was delivered at the end of 2022.
Certifications
According to the official page, read in October 2026, the complex has LEED Platinum certification. The second building also has WiredScore Platinum, for digital connectivity, and Access4You Silver, for accessibility.
LEED is an international system that rates buildings by environmental performance, and Platinum is the highest level.
The sale
The business press wrote that Skanska intends to sell the buildings, following its usual model. The status of the sale is not confirmed in the sources read, so the page does not name a current owner.
Place in the area
Equilibrium is on the same street as Green Court and Globalworth Square. Economica wrote in October 2019 that Floreasca – Barbu Văcărescu is the largest office submarket in Bucharest, and two Equilibrium buildings were listed among the projects under way. The area is near the Quartier du Nord projects.
